>>Flo is a beautiful 9 year old white and liver German Shorthaired Pointer. She was surrendered after her owner died, and I know she had a broken heart. She was VERY thin and shy when the awesome folks at GSP Rescue got her from a local shelter.

Flo has gained about seven pounds since I got her, but she is a picky eater and I suspect her previous owner fed her human food more than dog chow.

Flo is SUCH a love, she wants to sit on my lap or right next to me with her feet on my legs. She is so gentle with kids, she lets my 2 year old niece hug her and she is patient with the vet. Someone at GSP Rescue said "thanks for adopting a senior dog" and I had to remind myself that Flo is older, since she runs and jumps and plays like a puppy!

As Flo comes out of her shell I have grown so attached to her. She is so affectionate and loving!<<

>>I thought I would drop you a line to tell you that I visited "Blue" on Memorial Day and decided to adopt him. He's really an amazing dog and I'm still in disbelief that dogs like Blue are so available. I just want to extend a very heartfelt thanks to you for your help and encouragement throughout this process. I think you're right about this dog being more appropriate for me and my situation; Jake may have caused me problems. Last night Blue and I went out on our first hunt together and he did great! Anyway, I thank you for your involvement in the GSP Rescue program and the help you offered in my dog search. If I can be of any help to you, let me know. (All my hunting friends are now curious about the program.) Best Regards,<<
